The first "NGO Projects Matching Caring Enterprises Funds” Activities Concluded
Sponsored by SSCLF - BEA Public Welfare Fund and First Financial Magazine, “NGO Projects Matching Caring Enterprises Funds" final was held at the Shanghai Financial Information Center on August 25, 2016. Ten outstanding public welfare organizations were selected through the preliminaries and semi-finals. And the final winners were decided among the ten public welfare organizations after TED proposal, comments from judges, and Q & A session. Shanghai Pudong Hand in Hand Life Care and Development Center, Shanghai Qingcongquan Training Center for Children with Special Needs and Shanghai Puki Deaf Coordination Agency won the first, second and third awards, respectively receiving 200,000 yuan, 160,000 yuan and 120,000 yuan. The other seven organizations obtained 80,000 yuan each.
“NGO Project Matching Caring Enterprises Public Funds" activities, started in June this year, received a total of more than 100 NGO applications. Through a series of strict screening of the auditions, preliminary review, expert review and integrating professional advice from senior experts group in the public welfare field and public voting feedback, top ten public welfare project finalists were decided.
The final competition scene was all splendid in a warm atmosphere. NGOs’ outstanding representatives gave full displays and in-depth interpretations of their public welfare projects, attracting caring enterprises matching funds - more than one million yuan. "Guardian - Angel" Hospice Care Project of Shanghai Pudong Hand in Hand Life Care and Development Center, Under the Blue Sky "Stars" Project of Shanghai Qingcongquan Training Center for Children with Special Needs and Silent Classroom Public Welfare Project of Shanghai Puki Deafs Coordination Agency came to the fore and won the top three. At the same time, the event also attracted the participation of observation groups from consumer goods, science and technology, health care and insurance industries’ enterprises to promote the development of public welfare undertakings.
