On September 17, the last day of the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the second "Love and Hope" themed children's art exhibition and auction for Kidnewer, sponsored by SSCLF and Jinshan District Women's Federation, and supported by Shanghai Wind Art Experience Museum, was held at the atrium of Wanda Plaza in Jinshan district, Shanghai. A total of 88,000 yuan was raised at the charity auction. Yang Mengxin, a girl with kidney disease from Jinshan district also attended the auction.

On September 10, the Children's Art Exhibition opened with one hundred pieces of paintings on display from Shanghai and Beijing children painters. They use their brushes to paint their "love and hope" for kidnewer. On the last day of the exhibition, the organizers held an auction for charity sales of 100 painting works, to raise money for the children with uremia and renal transplantation. Some kind-hearted people donated the paintings they just bought at the auction, hoping to raise more money for Yang Mengxin and other children with uremia at Shanghai Pediatric Hospital.

The Public Welfare Project of “Kidnewer", the first such project in this field in China, was founded by SSCLF and the Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fu Dan University. The purpose of the project is to arouse the whole society’s concern and attention to sick children with uremia and enable doctors to save the lives of more children with uremia through kidney transplantation. As of now, the second "Love and Hope" themed children's art exhibition and auction for Kidnewer has raised more than 100,000 yuan. Families of children with kidney diseases can obtain application forms for kidnewer assistance at Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, Shanghai Pediatric Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center (South Hospital of Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University).
