Safety for Mothers and Infants
This project was first established in 2001. Its aim is to help poverty-stricken areas in western China to establish maternal and child health stations, provide them with medical equipment, train medical workers for them, promote scientific birth methods, enable local pregnant women to have free admission for delivery, and reduce maternal and neonatal mortality.

    This project was first established in 2001. Its aim is to help poverty-stricken areas in western China to establish maternal and child health stations, provide them with medical equipment, train medical workers for them, promote scientific birth methods, enable local pregnant women to have free admission for delivery, and reduce maternal and neonatal mortality. The project now benefits the remote rural areas of 20 provinces and cities in China, including Yunnan, Guizhou and Anhui provinces and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
