2018 Yixin Charity Gala themed "Dream with you”, sponsored by Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation, undertaken by Yixin Public Welfare Development Center, was held at Dong Jiao Hotel on the evening of December 2, 2018. More than 160 people including representatives of Shanghai Experimental School Education Group, East campus, Shanghai Experimental School, Shanghai Huxing Public Welfare Foundation, OPPLE Co., Ltd. and other corporations, famous Shaoxin opera actor Zhao Zhigang, as well as warm-hearted people attended the charity gala. Over RMB 670,000 yuan raised at the charity gala through charity auction and online donation will support "Art Dream Project” launched by SSCLF – Yixin Public Welfare Fund.

The selected students and teachers from Dali assisted schools in Yunnan Province came all way from Yunnan Province to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the caring people on the gala stage. Many of the guests shed tears when the children told their parents via online video their true feeling of missing them who were working far away from their hometowns.

Yixin Public Welfare Development Center (Yixin Center) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing diversified cultural education services for teenagers and their families. In 2018, Yixin Center established public welfare fund under SSCLF and the fund launched “Art Dream Project”.  The Project aims to improving the art teaching skills of art teachers from poor areas of Yunnan province and therefore benefit more local children who lack of art education. To date, the project has organized online and offline training for nearly 200 art teachers in Dali region, Yunnan province. Moreover, the project supports some local schools set up dream classes to cultivate students’ interests and skills in art.
