The launching ceremony of the “SSCLF Smiling Eye Health Special Fund” was held on May 25, 2021 at the Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the fund’s sponsors, experts and leaders from the Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital of Fudan University, leaders from the Ophthalmology Branch of China National Health Associations, and representatives of corporate donors.

The “SSCLF Smiling Eye Health Special Fund” will provide women and children patients in Jiangxi and Guizhou with charity clinics, charitable surgeries, equipment donations to local hospitals, train the medical and nursing staff in ophthalmology clinical skills, and publish popular science books on ophthalmology disease prevention and control, thereby helping communities and schools to carry out children and youth Myopia prevention, control and treatment.
