On the evening of September 2, 2021, the Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation KaiLong Public Welfare Special Fund held the Eighth Charity Gala "Warm-Hearted Bidding" at the St. Regis Hotel, Jingan, Shanghai. All the artworks for the charity auction were specially created or donated by caring people. The proceeds from the charity auction will be used to support the Special Fund's educational aid projects in remote areas in Guizhou and Henan provinces. 

A total of 2.7 million yuan raised on the event and the pre-targeted donation created a new high in fundraising of charity project “Warm-Hearted Bidding”.

On the next day of the event, led by Mr. Zheng Ximing, founder of Kai Long Public Welfare, a group of 30 caring people went to the mountainous areas in Guizhou province to carry out this year's student visit activity. They visited the families of the beneficiaries and passed on everyone’s love and encouragement.
